In compliance with The Campus Fire Safety Right-to-Know Act, included as part of the reauthorization of the Higher Education Opportunity Act, Sonoma State University compiles an annual Campus Housing Fire Safety Report.
In addition, the University provides information about mandatory supervised fire drills conducted by Residential Education and Campus Housing.
