About University Police Department

The Sonoma State University Police Department is a fully sworn law enforcement agency that provides services 24/7 to the community. The Department has statewide authority, and frequently works with allied law enforcement agencies and other California State University Police Departments throughout the State. 

We offer many meaningful professional development opportunities to allow for individual growth, as well as specialty assignments, stipends, and pay differentials.
