University Police Officer Trainings

As a part of ongoing preparedness and safety programs, University Police completes annual specialized trainings when offered. This October, University Police Officers attended the Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC) course at the Santa Rosa Training Center, which is a requirement every two years for active police personnel. The EVOC course is designed to teach the officers the dynamics of vehicle operations to include high speed turns, emergency braking, parking maneuvers, and quick decision making. Please check out an example of the course below.

Public and Campus Community Trainings

University Police Department offers many trainings to the campus community throughout the year. Trainings have been mostly post-poned due to the COVID-19 pandemic but we are looking forward to hosting virtual trainings in the future. Video trainings coming soon!
